I am still playing Wordle. It is a good part of my morning routine, I sometimes learn a new word, and most especially, I love streaks. Monkey brain likes huge numbers.

As of this writing, I have played 691 games. My longest streak was 135 and I want to break that (again).

My strategy is pretty simple:

I start with RAISE, which people say is statistically the best word to begin with. After 633 games, it was the answer (April 19, 2024).

followed by CHYND, that is “to cut into chines for cooking” and is also a word that contains a lot of consonants. As far as I know, this hasn’t been an answer.

and lastly FLOUT, to use up the remaining vowels. This was the answer last October 26, 2022.
